With our new beta feature, we are introducing eye tracking for heatmaps. And no we don't use the camera to do that.
Using machine-learning we are analyzing data about mouse movements and clicks to map an estimate of where the user is looking at. By doing so, we are able to generate a predicted model of where your users are spending most of the time looking at.
NOTE - Eye-tracking heatmap is a beta feature and following safety guidelines, we add the results in a common heatmap without specifically mentioning it or exposing this particular data. We are working on the legal aspect to bring forward this data separately soon.
